Comrade Greeting Card

So, I'd been wanting to do this for a long time, and this May I finally got to it. Maybe it's just a little too niche, but I'm still pretty surprised that a licensed release of one of these never occurred. Here's the reference material:

And the final. Here you can get a sense of what the audio quality of these sound modules is like:

I made the card in Illustrator... I was able to match the font fairly well, but I'd love to know what the actual font is...

I bought the base printable sound recording cards at Sound Expression Greetings.  They have video cards now... and I kinda thought sound cards were a little on the opulent side... Anyway, for this, I only needed a 10 second sound module (the total recording time I needed is more like 5 seconds) but they have 20s up to... a minute, I think.

Antenna hot-glued in place. After this, I don't have any more photos 'til it's done. Generally it's just getting the legs lined up and glued in, but it takes a little finagling to get it to stand right. I'd already done a couple like this, but next set I'll Sugru-up the feet after they're attached to the card body... we'll see if that works any better.
